TAMIL NADU ASSOCIATION OF CANOEING & KAYAKING

Canoeing only made its debut in 1985. However, it was not until 1997 that the sport was introduced in the State, thanks to the efforts of Canoeing enthusiasts Mr. Sunil Rallan and Mr. Meiyappan. In 1998, Mr. Meiyappan coached a team led by Mr. Perumal & other 4 canoeists to participate in the Canoeing & Kayaking National Championships conducted at the famous Dal Lake in Jammu & Kashmir. TACK has been conducting competitions in as many as ten categories.
